The Swim Shady can pivot slightly in the direction of the wind during strong gusts. When set up, the Swim Shady measures
approximately 4 ft 7 in long and 3 ft 3 in wide, making it a compact and practical option for providing shade. When collapsed, it measures just 23 inches, making it easy to pack into luggage or beach bags, enhancing its portability for both local beach days, holidays and outdoor adventures.
They key to setting up your Swim Shady is to ensure the sand screw piece has found maximum resistance in the sand - our inbuilt handle ensures this with ease!

Yes, the Swim Shady provides UV protection. It is made from a recycled 50+ UPF-rated fabric, which helps block harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun, ensuring you stay safe while enjoying your time outdoors.

Warranty
Consumer Rights (UK & EU)
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights.
If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom or European Union, your purchase is covered by applicable consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the EU Consumer Sales Directive.
Under these laws, products must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.
If your product is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances and timing of the issue.
1-Year Limited Warranty
We offer a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase on all Swim Shady products. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and material faults arising under normal use.
This warranty is offered to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
To make a claim, please contact our customer service team at info@swimshady.co.uk with:
- Proof of purchase (e.g. receipt or invoice)
- A description of the issue
- Photos or videos where possible
We may request that the product be returned for inspection before confirming the outcome of your claim.
If a defect is confirmed, we will offer a repair, replacement or refund in line with applicable consumer laws.
If the issue is covered under this warranty, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs. Otherwise, return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
